Collaboration with Aaron Porterfield of F=F for Origin Laboratories
Commissioned to design and develop a concept of a casual running shoe with an emphasis on the speed of parametric design paired with 3D printing for proof of concept to their existing clients. This lattice structured midsole was created by formulating a 3D voxel cell that would be able to repeat and adjust in reaction to a pressure map of the foot along with other outlier factors that were factored into the algorithm. The outsole lugs match the complex lattice pattern while also incorporating central perforation voids for UV curing and flex locations.
